Stephen Heller
Stephen Heller (1813–1888) was a Hungarian pianist, teacher, and composer whose career spanned from Schumann to Bizet, influencing later Romantic composers. Born in Pest (now Budapest), he showed early musical talent, studied in Vienna with Czerny and others, and settled in Paris in 1838, where he composed over 150 piano works in 158 opus numbers.
