Stavros Ioannides

Stavros Ioannidis is a philosopher of science and Assistant Professor at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, where he works in the Department of History and Philosophy of Science. His research focuses on philosophy of biology, especially mechanism and mechanistic explanation, as well as evolutionary and developmental biology and the metaphysics of science.
