Stanley D. Henderson
Stanley D. Henderson was a prominent law professor who taught contracts, labor law, and labor arbitration at the University of Virginia School of Law from 1970 until his retirement in 2004 or 2005. A native of Iowa, he graduated from Coe College in 1957, attended Cornell as a Woodrow Wilson Fellow, studied briefly at the University of Chicago Law School, and earned his law degree from the University of Colorado Law School in 1961, followed by a clerkship and practice in Colorado before teaching at the University of Wyoming College of Law starting in 1964. He received the Virginia Alumni Association’s Distinguished Professor Award in 1983 and the First Year Class Faculty Teaching Award in 1994.
