Stan Berenstain
Stan Berenstain (1923-2005) was an American author and illustrator, best known for co-creating the Berenstain Bears children's book series with his wife Jan Berenstain. They met in 1941 at the Philadelphia Museum School of Industrial Arts, married in 1946 after World War II, and began their career with gag cartoons before launching the iconic bear family series in 1962 with The Big Honey Hunt.[1][2][3]
