Spenser
Edmund Spenser (c. 1552–1599) was an English poet best known for the epic allegorical poem *The Faerie Queene*, a major work of the Elizabethan era. He also wrote influential pastoral and lyrical poetry, including *The Shepheardes Calender*, *Amoretti*, and *Epithalamion*.
