Sophie Hodorowicz Knab
Sophie Hodorowicz Knab was born in 1948 in a Displaced Persons Camp in Hanover, Germany, to Polish parents who were forced laborers during World War II. Her family lived in France for six years before immigrating to the United States in 1954. She is an author known for books on Polish heritage, including Polish Customs, Traditions and Folklore, Polish Herbs, Flowers & Folk Medicine, and Wearing the Letter P: Polish Women as Forced Laborers in Nazi Germany.
