Sonya Richmond
Sonya Richmond is a Canadian nature advocate, researcher, and analyst with a PhD from the Faculty of Forestry at the University of Toronto, following undergraduate degrees in Biology and Environmental Resource Science and an MSc in Watershed Ecosystems Management from Trent University.[1][2] She put her career on hold, sold her house, and embarked on an epic 24,000 km journey walking The Great Trail across Canada with Sean Morton to explore the country and inspire youth to reconnect with nature.[1][2]
