Society for American Baseball Research (SABR)
The Society for American Baseball Research (SABR) is a membership organization dedicated to fostering the research and dissemination of the history and statistical record of baseball. Founded on August 10, 1971, in Cooperstown, New York, by sportswriter L. Robert Davids and 15 fellow researchers, it has grown to over 7,500 members worldwide and is headquartered in Phoenix, Arizona.[1][2][3]
