Sir John Gielgud

Sir John Gielgud was an English actor, producer, and director, widely regarded as one of the greatest stage and screen performers of his generation, especially in Shakespearean roles.[1][2] His career spanned more than six decades, with major work in theatre and film from the 1920s until shortly before his death in 2000.[1][3]
