Sir Admiral Leopold George Heath
Vice-Admiral Sir Leopold George Heath was a Royal Navy officer who served as Commander-in-Chief of the East Indies Station from 1867 to 1870. He participated in the Crimean War (1853-1856) and the Abyssinian campaign of 1868, and was instrumental in the Royal Navy's anti-slavery efforts on the East Coast of Africa. In retirement, he continued his involvement in anti-slavery work and business ventures.
