Simon Mitton

Simon Mitton is a British astronomer, writer, and Life Fellow at St Edmund's College, University of Cambridge, known for his extensive work in bringing astronomy and cosmology to the general public. He authored numerous scientific works, including a well-known biography of fellow Cambridge astronomer Fred Hoyle, and has been recognized for his outreach with asteroid 4027 named Minor Planet Mitton.
