Simon Jackson
Simon Jackson is a Canadian environmentalist, storyteller, and movement builder who founded the Spirit Bear Youth Coalition at age 13 to protect British Columbia's endangered white Kermode or spirit bear, growing it into the world's largest youth-led environmental network with over 6 million members in 85 countries.[1][2][5] He has raised global awareness, contributed to North America's largest land protection agreement in 2001, and served as a columnist for CBC and The Huffington Post while working as an award-winning photographer and motivational speaker.[1][2] Currently, he co-founded Nature Labs to advance environmental literacy and is writing his memoir.[1][2]
