Simon Hardy

Simon Hardy is a sociologist and academic who has lectured at the University of Worcester in Sociology and Media & Cultural Studies since 1995, specializing in the history of sexuality, sociology of pornography, and media coverage of warfare. He has held leadership roles including Head of Departments of English Media & Culture (2014-15), History and Sociology (2015-23), School of Humanities (2023-24), and currently serves as Interim Head of the Institute of Arts and Humanities.
