Sigrid Calon

Sigrid Calon is a Dutch visual artist born in Den Bosch in 1969, raised in Eindhoven, and based in Tilburg, where she studied textile design at the Academy of Fine Arts. After years in design, she shifted fully to artistry in 2005, blending autonomous and applied art with intuition, rationality, and playfulness inspired by everyday wonders. Her 2012 artist's book 'To the Extend of / \ | & -' marked her international breakthrough, featured at major art book fairs and institutions like MoMA and Victoria & Albert Museum.
