Sigismund Peller

Sigismund Peller (1890–1985) was an austro-American social physician and medical researcher known for applying statistical methods to social medicine and cancer research. Born in Tarnopol, then part of Austria-Hungary, he studied medicine at the University of Vienna, earned his doctorate in 1914, and later continued his work in the United States.
