Shula Marks

Shula Eta Marks, OBE, FBA, is a South African-British historian and author born on 14 October 1938 in Cape Town, known for her extensive work on South African history, apartheid, and public health issues including HIV/AIDS[1][2]. She is an emeritus professor of history at the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), University of London, and has written at least seven books, including a WHO monograph on Health and Apartheid[1][3].
