Shrawan Kumar

Shrawan Kumar is an Indian mathematician and distinguished professor of mathematics at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, known for his work on Kac-Moody groups and their representation theory. Born in Ghazipur, India, he earned his Ph.D. from the University of Mumbai and TIFR in 1986 and became a fellow of the American Mathematical Society in 2012.
