Shoshana Blum-Kulka
Shoshana Blum-Kulka was an Israeli linguist born in 1936 in Cluj, Transylvania (then Romania), who specialized in cross-cultural pragmatics and discourse analysis. She served as Professor Emerita at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Department of Communication and School of Education, and published extensively in applied linguistics. She passed away on June 11, 2013.[1][2][3][4][5]
