Shirley Williams

Shirley Williams (1930–2021) was a British politician and academic who began her career as a journalist before becoming a Labour MP and cabinet minister. She later co-founded the Social Democratic Party as one of the Gang of Four and went on to become a leading Liberal Democrat figure and professor at Harvard University.
