Shirley Glass

Shirley P. Glass was a renowned clinical psychologist, licensed marriage and family therapist, and leading expert on infidelity, conducting research on extramarital relationships since 1975 and authoring 'Not Just Friends: Protect Your Relationship From Infidelity and Heal the Trauma of Betrayal.'[1][2][3] She treated hundreds of couples over 25 years, developed concepts like 'walls and windows' in relationships, and was called the 'godmother of infidelity research' by The New York Times.[1][2][3] She died of breast cancer in 2003 at age 67 in Owings Mills, Maryland, and was the mother of NPR host Ira Glass.[1][2]
