Shirlee Busbee
Shirlee Elaine Busbee, born on August 9, 1941, in San Jose, California, is a New York Times bestselling romance novelist who has published over 18 novels since 1977, with more than nine million copies in print. The eldest child of a career naval officer, she traveled the world during her childhood, attended school in Kentri, Morocco, and later earned a certificate from Burbank Business College in Santa Rosa, California, in 1962. She married Howard Busbee on June 22, 1963, and they reside in the hills of California, where they raise Standard Schnauzers, Standardbred horses, and other animals; she has received awards including the Romantic Times Reviewers' Choice Award and Affaire de Coeur's Silver and Bronze Pen Awards.[1][2][3]
