Sheryl Salloum

Sheryl Salloum, born in Nelson, British Columbia on May 2, 1950, earned a B.A. from Simon Fraser University with majors in English and Early Childhood Education and taught elementary and high school in B.C. from 1974 to 1989 before launching her writing career in 1983. She has authored books on British Columbia artists and writers, including Underlying Vibrations: The Photography and Life of John Vanderpant (nominated for a B.C. Book Prize in 1996), The Life and Art of Mildred Valley Thornton, and Malcolm Lowry: Vancouver Days.
