Sherryl Woods is a bestselling American author of over 150 romance, mystery, and women's fiction novels, known for heartwarming stories exploring themes of family, friendship, and small-town life, including popular series like Chesapeake Shores and Sweet Magnolias.[1][2][5] Born in Arlington, Virginia, she earned a journalism degree from Ohio State University and began her career in newspapers before becoming a full-time writer, publishing her first book in 1982 under the pseudonym Suzanne Sherrill.[1][2][6] She divides her time between Key Biscayne, Florida, and Colonial Beach, Virginia.[4][5][6]
