Shaun Tan

Shaun Tan (born 15 January 1974 in Fremantle, Western Australia) is an Australian artist, writer, and filmmaker best known for his illustrated books such as the wordless graphic novel *The Arrival* (2006), an international bestseller that won multiple awards, and the picture book *The Lost Thing* (2000), for which he co-directed an Academy Award-winning animated short in 2010.[1][2][6]
