Sharon Kahn

Sharon Kahn (1934-2024) was an American author best known for her cozy mystery series featuring Ruby Rothman, the rabbi's widow and computer expert in a small Texas town, starting with 'Fax Me a Bagel' in 1998.[1][2][3] A graduate of Vassar College and University of Arizona Law School, she worked as an attorney and labor/management arbitrator, and also wrote children's books.[1][4] Born in Birmingham, Alabama, she lived in Austin, Texas, was married to a rabbi, had three children, and served on the Austin Library Commission before passing away on January 21, 2024.[1][2]
