Sharon Hargus
Sharon Hargus is a Professor in the Department of Linguistics at the University of Washington, where she has worked since 1986. She received her PhD in Linguistics from UCLA in 1985 and specializes in the phonetics, phonology, and morphology of Indigenous languages, particularly Athabaskan languages and Sahaptin. Her research focuses on documentation of Native American languages including Deg Xinag, Kwadacha Sekani, and Witsuwit'en.
