Shankar Pillai

K. Shankar Pillai, popularly known as Shankar, was India's most celebrated cartoonist and is considered the father of political cartooning in the country. He founded Shankar's Weekly in 1948, established the Children's Book Trust in 1957, and created the Shankar's International Dolls Museum in 1965, leaving a lasting legacy in children's literature and art.
