Seyyed Hossein Nasr
Seyyed Hossein Nasr (born 1933) is an Iranian philosopher, scholar of Islam, and leading figure in the Traditionalist/Perennialist school. Educated at MIT and Harvard, he taught at Tehran University and later at George Washington University, becoming widely known for his work on Islamic philosophy, Sufism, and the relationship between religion, science, and modernity.
