Seymour Chwast (Author, Illustrator)

Seymour Chwast is an American graphic designer, illustrator, and type designer born in 1931 in New York City, best known as a founding partner of Push Pin Studios, which revolutionized graphic design in the 1960s.[1][2] He studied at Cooper Union and has created influential posters, books, and commercial art blending social commentary with his distinctive 'Roxy Style,' continuing as principal of The Pushpin Group.[2][6] His prolific career spans over six decades, impacting visual culture through humor, innovation, and protest-themed works.[3][7]
