Seymour Chwast
Seymour Chwast is an American graphic designer, illustrator, and type designer born in 1931 in New York City, best known as a founding partner of Push Pin Studios, which revolutionized graphic design in the 1960s.[1][2] He graduated from Cooper Union in 1951 and has created influential posters, children's books, graphic novels, and fonts, blending social commentary with his distinctive 'Roxy Style.'[2][6] Still active as principal of The Pushpin Group, he has received awards including the AIGA Medal in 1985 and a National Design Award in 2023.[2][7]
