Seitlhamo Motsapi

Seitlhamo Motsapi is a South African poet born in 1966 in Bela Bela, Limpopo. His work is known for its social and political commitment, experimental language, and engagement with pan-Africanist and anti-colonial themes; his best-known collection is *earthstepper / the ocean is very shallow* (1995, reprinted 2003). He has also worked as a university lecturer and speechwriter, and later withdrew from public literary life.
