Sebastian San

Sebastian San Vicente (1896-1938?) was a Spanish anarchist born in Gernika, Basque country, who became a stoker and boiler mechanic in the Spanish Merchant Navy. He was a founder and sub-secretary of the Confederación General de Trabajadores (CGT), a revolutionary syndicalist union, and was active in labor organizing across Spain, Cuba, Mexico, and the USA. He appears as a central figure in novels by Mexican writer Paco Ignacio Taibo.
