Sebastian Junger
Sebastian Junger is an American journalist, author, and filmmaker born on January 17, 1962, in Belmont, Massachusetts, best known for his #1 New York Times bestselling book The Perfect Storm (1997), which was adapted into a major motion picture. He has reported on dangerous occupations and infantry combat, including extensive coverage of the war in Afghanistan, and co-directed the Oscar-nominated documentary Restrepo (2010). His other notable works include War, Tribe, and In My Time of Dying, earning him awards like the National Magazine Award and Peabody Award.[1][2][3][7]
