Sebastian Haffner

Sebastian Haffner was the pseudonym of Raimund Pretzel, a German journalist, publicist, writer, and historian born in Berlin in 1907 and died there in 1999. He became known for books and essays on modern German history, especially the Nazi era, and also worked as a journalist in Britain and later in Germany.
