Seanan McGuire
Seanan McGuire (pronounced SHAWN-in) is an American author and filker known for her urban fantasy novels, particularly the October Daye and InCryptid series. She won the 2010 John W. Campbell Award for Best New Writer and has garnered numerous awards including Hugo, Nebula, Locus, and Alex Awards. She also writes science fiction and horror under the pseudonym Mira Grant and children's fantasy under the pseudonym A. Deborah Baker.
