Sean McMullen

Sean McMullen is an Australian science fiction author with over two dozen books and more than 100 stories published in over a dozen languages, including nominations for Hugo and BSFA awards.[2][4][7] He holds degrees in physics and history from Melbourne University (1974), a postgraduate degree in library and information science, and a PhD in Medieval Literature, and previously worked in computing and communications with the Bureau of Meteorology before writing full time.[1][4] He helped define Australian genre fiction through the first histories of SF, fantasy, and horror by Australians, and serves as deputy chief instructor at the Melbourne University Karate Club.[2][4]
