Scott Jurek

Scott Gordon Jurek is an American ultramarathoner, author, and public speaker known for dominating some of the world’s most prestigious endurance races, including the Western States 100, Badwater Ultramarathon, and Spartathlon. He later gained wider recognition as the author of books such as his memoir and as the runner who set the Appalachian Trail speed record in 2015.
