Scott E. Denmark
Scott E. Denmark is an American chemist and the Reynold C. Fuson Professor of Chemistry at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where he has been on the faculty since 1980, advancing from assistant professor to full professor by 1987.[1][3][4] He earned an S.B. from MIT in 1975 and a D.Sc.Tech. from ETH-Zürich under Albert Eschenmoser in 1980, specializing in synthetic organic chemistry, stereocontrol, and Lewis base activation.[1][2][3] Denmark has received numerous awards, including the Pedler Medal, Noyori Prize, and election to the National Academy of Sciences in 2018.[1][2][4]
