Scott Anderson
Scott Anderson (born 1959) is an American writer, novelist, non-fiction author, and veteran war correspondent who has covered conflicts in regions including Chechnya, Egypt, Israel, Lebanon, Northern Ireland, Sri Lanka, and Sudan. He is a frequent contributor to publications such as the New York Times Magazine, GQ, Esquire, Vanity Fair, and is a graduate of the Iowa Writers' Workshop, having been raised in East Asia. His notable works include the non-fiction book Lawrence in Arabia, which was a finalist for the National Book Critics Circle Award and won the Kirkus Prize for Nonfiction in 2025, as well as novels Triage and Moonlight Hotel.
