Scot McKnight
Scot McKnight (born 1953) is an American New Testament scholar, historian of early Christianity, theologian, and author who has written widely on the historical Jesus, early Christianity, and Christian living[1]. He is a professor of New Testament at Northern Seminary in Lisle, Illinois, and has authored over fifty to ninety books, including the award-winning The Jesus Creed[1][2][8]. McKnight earned his doctorate from the University of Nottingham and previously served as a professor at North Park University[2][5].
