Scholastique Mukasonga ,
Scholastique Mukasonga is a French-Rwandan author and memoirist born in 1956 in Rwanda’s former Gikongoro province. Her work often reflects on exile, memory, and the Rwandan genocide; she won the Prix Renaudot and the Prix Ahmadou-Kourouma for *Our Lady of the Nile* in 2012.
