Satya Murti

S. Satyamurti (Sundara Sastri Satyamurti) was an Indian independence activist, lawyer, and leading Congress politician from the Madras Presidency. He was known for his oratory, involvement in anti-colonial protests, and later served as Mayor of Madras; he died in 1943 after his health deteriorated during imprisonment and political activity.
