Sarah J Maas

Sarah J. Maas (born March 5, 1986) is an American fantasy author best known for her bestselling series Throne of Glass, A Court of Thorns and Roses, and Crescent City, which have sold over 75 million copies worldwide and been translated into 40 languages. She began writing Throne of Glass at age 16, inspired by a desire for compelling female characters in fantasy like those in Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Sailor Moon. A New York native, she now lives in Pennsylvania with her family.
