Sarah Broadie
Sarah Broadie (1941–2021) was a distinguished British philosopher and Professor of Moral Philosophy at the University of St Andrews, specializing in ancient Greek philosophy with a focus on Aristotle and Plato. She authored three major monographs on Aristotle covering his philosophy of nature, modality, and ethics, and later wrote two on Plato's Timaeus and the Republic. Her scholarly work significantly advanced the understanding of ancient metaphysics and ethics.
