Sangu Mandanna

Sangu Mandanna is a British-Indian author of adult, young adult, and middle grade fiction, best known for her fantasy romance novels such as The Very Secret Society of Irregular Witches (2022) and A Witch's Guide to Magical Innkeeping (2025).[1] Born in 1987 or 1988 and raised in Bengaluru, India, she moved to England at 18 to study English literature and creative writing at Lancaster University, graduating in 2010, and debuted with the young adult dystopian novel The Lost Girl in 2012.[1] She now lives in Norwich, England, with her husband and children.[3][4]
