Sandra Barnes

Sandra Barnes is an American author, sociologist, and ordained Baptist minister known for her work on religion, race, and urban poverty, with notable publications including 'Patrons and Power' and 'Empowering Black Youth of Promise.' She has served as a professor at institutions such as Brown University, Vanderbilt University, and the University of Pennsylvania, and is a founding director of the African Studies Center at Penn.
