San Duanmu

San Duanmu is a Professor of Linguistics at the University of Michigan, specializing in phonology and Chinese linguistics. He earned his PhD in Linguistics from MIT in 1990, an MA from the University of Reading in 1981, and a BA from Sichuan Normal University in Chengdu, China, in 1981. His research examines general properties of language, particularly the interaction between phonology, morphosyntax, and phonological features.
