Samuel York

Samuel York (or Samuel Yorke) was a 17th-century settler of the New England Colonies, born in 1645 and dying on March 17, 1718, at age 72 or 73[1]. He is not an author but a historical figure associated with early American settlement, and York Landing in Falmouth, Maine, is named after him[1].
