SAMUEL LYONS

Samuel Lyons (c. 1791–1851) was a businessman in colonial New South Wales who first arrived as a convict from London after being convicted of theft in 1814. He later became a landowner and prominent figure in Sydney, rising from transported convict to property owner and merchant.
