Samuel Bamford

Samuel Bamford (1788–1872) was an English radical reformer, poet, journalist, and diarist from Lancashire. He is best known for his role in the reform movement and for his poems and autobiographical writings, especially in the Lancashire dialect, which documented working-class life in the Industrial Revolution.
